BUILDING THE BRIDGE TO POTENTIAL
OUR STORY
Our journey began in the vibrant heart of Costa Rica. It is where my wife and I met, married, and built our first memories together. From the shores of the British Virgin Islands to our current home in Florida, Costa Rica has remained a part of who we are.

​But alongside our love for the country, we witnessed a stark reality: millions of brilliant young minds are trapped in a cycle of poverty, their potential stifled not by a lack of talent, but by a lack of opportunity for advanced schooling. This is more than a tragedy of circumstance; it is a profound squandering of human potential.
The Predictable Future
If we do nothing, the future is easy to predict. Talent will remain untapped. Communities will continue to lack the local doctors, engineers, and innovators they need to thrive.
The gap between the privileged and the disadvantaged will only widen, leaving the brightest children as victims of a system that denies them the tools to break free. We refuse to accept a world that is less stable and less prosperous simply because we failed to act.

We believe a different future is within reach. We are a non-profit dedicated to identifying disadvantaged, high-potential students and providing the funding necessary for them to access higher education.

Pura Vida Pathways is dedicated to transforming the lives of promising students in Costa Rica by removing financial barriers to higher education and providing a scholarship program where education equals hope.
This scholarship program will foster academic excellence and serve as the pathway toward achieving their fullest potential and inspiring the spirit of Pura Vida throughout their community.
